The Next Generation of Leaders In Autism
.
The New York Times referred to the type of therapy provided by Garden Academy as “effective but rare.” For many families this means a struggle to find appropriate services for their children with autism. For some families that struggle can last years. Garden Academy was founded by parents in response to this critical shortage, which is why we are firmly committed to helping to train new professionals – to help alleviate this shortage and impact as many children and families as possible.
While we are still a new school, we have provided clinical supervision to over 20 professionals as part of their training to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts. We have had dozens of interns from Caldwell College and other local colleges and universities come to Garden Academy in order to gain exposure to our teaching methods and program. We have helped disseminate our knowledge at local, national and international conferences.
“Garden Academy plays an important role in helping to train the next generation of professionals, the leaders who will shape the course of autism therapy.”
